1. Where is the institution located?
We are found on 164 Katherine Street,Pinmil Farm Block F, Barlow Park,Sandton
2. What are the admission requirements for IT programs?
To be admitted to our IT programs, you need to have completed high school or equivalent. You also need to submit your educational certificates,proof of residence, a CV, and a copy of your ID. However for End User program a qualification below matric can be accepted.
3. How long will it take to complete each of the IT program?
Each IT program is designed to be completed in one year.However a student may exceed this period if they could not finish the course due to various reasons that are acceptable and reasonable.
4. Is the school registered?
The institution is a legally registered entity and the IT courses it is running are accredited with MICT Seta.
5. Are there any financial aid options or scholarships available?
The institution does not offer any financial loans or assistance to students. However the institution values financial aid for students, and its a matter that we are still looking into.Some of our partners have actually chipped in by helping pay tuition fees for a handful of under-privileged students.
6. Do your IT programs include any internship or practical experience components?
Yes, our IT programs includes a mandatory internship component that provides hands-on experience in your field. We have partnerships with various companies and organizations to facilitate internship placements. Additionally, there are opportunities for research projects and practical labs.
7. Are your courses only taught online?
Courses are delivered both online and on campus depending on an individual's circumstances.
8. What are the fees for each of your IT courses?
Full-time self sponsored students will have to pay R for registration and R every month. However Company-Sponsored students fees will vary depending on the agreements made with the client. However I should comment that our fees are one of the lowest compared to those of other institutions offering the same.
9. How do I apply, and what are the deadlines?
You can apply by completing a downloadable application form on our website. The application deadlines are June 31 2024 and no application beyond this date shall be acceptable unless if we are advised otherwise by the government. Make sure to submit all required documents, including your transcripts, test scores, personal statement, and recommendation letters, by the deadline.
10. What career opportunities will these IT courses prepare me for?
There are various opportunities presented by these courses. End User Support roles, like Help Desk Technician and IT Support Specialist, involve troubleshooting and assisting users with hardware and software issues. Technical Support careers, such as Technical Support Engineer and Network Support Specialist, focus on resolving complex technical problems and maintaining network infrastructure. Systems Development offers roles like Software Developer and Web Developer, where you'll design, code, and test applications and websites. Systems Support includes careers like Systems Administrator and DevOps Engineer, managing IT infrastructure and automating processes.
11.What courses do you offer?
We are currently running IT courses acredited with MICT SETA but we also have customised business courses such as Human Resources, Public Administration, Basic and Advanced Accounting, Short Computer Courses among others.
12. What are your business hours?
We operate Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm. The school is closed during public holidays and year end annual break.
13. Can I get NSFAS funding at your college.
Since we are a private organisation, you can not get NSFAS financial support. NSFAS is only available at puplic institutions.
14. What are the opening and closing dates for your courses.
Registrations are always open for the currently running courses. However, should there be any change, this position may also be required changed to suit the obtaining situation.
15. Am I able to study with your college if I am not a South African?
Yes you are able to undertake courses with us if you are not South African provided you are abiding by the immigration laws of the Republic of South Africa.
16. What payement options or methods are available for students?
All payments are strictly made through our bank account whose details are supplied. We currently do not have a provision for for cash payments.
17. What language of instruction is used by your college?
All lessons shall be delivered in English language therefore your competence in oral and written skills in English will be of paramount importance.
18. Do you have bursaries?
We do not have bursaries for now but it is one area we are looking forward to invest into.
19. Do you have any other branches outside Johannesburg?
We currently are in Johannesburg only but we definitely will open up in other provinces as informed by both our growth and our in enrolment as well as increased demand for our services from areas outside Johannesburg.
